Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Halloween Trailer Released

Just in time for Halloween, Frictional Games released the second official trailer today for the upcoming sequel to the successful indie game Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

Fittingly dubbed as the Halloween Teaser, the video provides a chilling glimpse into the game’s industrial realm of lantern-lit terror. Like the teaser says, “This world is a machine. A machine for pigs. Fit only for the slaughtering of pigs.” The Dark Descent just may have been as creepy as any survival horror game of the past, but Frictional Games is really just getting started.

There’s just something utterly terrifying about descending into the darkness, without any weapon and without any idea of what is waiting for you. Add in the mystery behind what the title really means, and you get a game poised to scare your pants off again and again. Just the desperate squeal of a dying pig in the darkness is enough to get your blood pumping.

Though no official release date has been announced, A Machine For Pigs is expected to land on PC early on in 2013.
