Even though Tomb Raider isn’t scheduled to come out until March 5, the first of 3 pre-order bonuses were announced today.
Following what seems like an industry trend, the actual bonuses depend on what retailer you decide to pre-order with. The official advertisements for the pre-order bonuses, along with detailing the initial goodies, show that Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop will have two more stages of unique bonuses for both December and January.
Order the game with Best Buy, and your first stage of bonuses includes a 48 page hardback comic called “The Beginning”, which details the events leading up to the game, and the “Aviatrix” skin, which gives Laura the classic 1930′s adventurer look complete with bomber jacket. Decide to buy the game at GameStop, and you get the Challenge Tomb, which is a completely new location full of challenging environmental puzzles.Take your business online to Amazon, and you get the Hunter Skin, which covers Laura in a heavy coat of mud, a Kindle Fire copy of “The Final Hours of Tomb Raider”, and the physical book “The Art of Tomb Raider.”
