StarCry, A Crysis Mod for Sci-Fi Fans, Realsed Today

After four long years of development, StarCry, a huge mod for the game Crysis with multiple references to famous science fiction franchises, was finally released today.

The release notes claim this mod contains “more than 1,000 new objects, 2,000 textures, 20 weapons, and 1,000 lines of dialogue” added to the original game. This results in about 8 hours of gameplay for a first play through.

These new additions include familiar aspects of Star Wars, Stark Trek, and especially Stargate. On top of these, there will also be original creations. Don’t worry about getting flooded with content, because the developers promise a coherent storyline.
