With the game releasing in a month, Blizzard has decided to treat us to the opening cinematic for Mists of Pandaria. Blizzard’s biggest strength has always been cinematics and this opening does nothing to tarnish that reputation.
This beautiful trailer shows us a few things about the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, including the increased emphasis on the fading relationship between the Horde and the Alliance. The blunt of the trailer is focused on an orc and a human fighting on an unknown island when a mysterious adversary steps in to take them both on. What ensues is a fight scene that would make Tony Jaa blush as well some comical moments that showcase the expansion’s return to light hearted fun. If the trailer is any indication, the game will also feature another series staple—great music.
