If you play Skyrim on the PC, then you got a nice little surprise yesterday in the form of the Dawnguard DLC. Unfortunately, PS3 users weren’t so lucky as their version of Dawnguard isn’t quite ready for release. Bethesada stated that “We are not satisfied yet with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3. We would like for everyone to have a chance to play Dawnguard, but we aren’t going to release it for PS3 knowing that some people’s experience in Skyrim will be worse.”
Given Skyrim’s past issues on the PS3, this is probably for the best. However, patience is a virtue as I’m sure you want to play this great piece of DLC at its best.
