Europe may be experiencing sensory overload. Not only are they hosting the 2012 Olympics for the next two weeks, but they’re also in the midst of receiving shipments of the 3DS XL. A 3DS with screens that are 90% larger than the original 3DS. The upgraded device arrives in the United States on August 19, but let’s take a look at what our pals across the sea are saying about the new and improved 3DS. And who knows, maybe Nintendo will steal the show from the Olympics?
Incredulous doesn’t even begin to describe this predicament.
I brought the 3DS XL today and i couldn’t believe it didn’t come with a charger (@YouTube youtu.be/Pt0b6UfEX5E?a)

Just get a new 3DS XL every four hours. Problem solved.
I still find it annoying that the 3DS XL doesn’t come with any form of charger.

It’s the clown cars of video game boxes.
The 3DS XL box is surprisingly small.

Slap some paint on that sucker.
My local store only has a Blue 3DS XL, but I actually wanted a Red one. What should I do internet?

Should’ve moved to Ireland when you had the chance.
Seems every store is breaking street date on 3DS XL. Except in Malmö

“Happy belated Mother’s Day. Here’s a year old 3DS.”
The touchscreen on the 3DS XL has improved, it feels way better than on the older 3DS model. (Which my Mom took over lol)

So that’s a snapshop of the folks in Europe getting on (or off, in some cases) the hype train. Looking forward to the 3DS XL? Currently holding one as we speak? Let us know in the comments.
