Final Fantasy XIV didn’t have the prettiest of MMO launches, as it received abysmal reviews and even Square’s CEO has disowned it. However, they have been dedicated to fixing the game and this dedication is finally coming into view. Complete with a brand new CGI trailer and revamped website, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is on the horizon.
A Realm Reborn is not a simple update though, as it has been built from the ground up with a new game director and development team involved. Although hating Square Enix seems to be the cool thing to do these days, you have to give them some credit for they’re doing here. I doubt any other company would put this much effort into fixing a game.
