While there aren’t many details at this point, a beta for Battlefield 4 will begin in fall 2013. Hope you can still enjoy the Battlefield 3 multiplayer before the new entry arrives. If you’re looking to be a part of the beta, you can either wait for signups or pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter which comes out for the 360, PS3, and PC October 26th.
EA decided to pair these games together because, according to Frank Gibeau, president of EA Labels, it would be, “a one-two punch of action, intensity and shooter entertainment.”
Seeing as Battlefield 3 was a huge hit when it was released last year, it’s no surprise that EA wants to get a new entry out as quickly as they can. However, this scenario is giving me an odd sense of deja vu. It probably has something to do with a rival FPS franchise, but I could be mistaken.
