I’m pretty sure no one was expecting Telltale to make a great game when The Walking Dead was announced but, somehow, they exceeded expectations. With episode 3 dropping sometime next month, and with two more episodes coming by the end of the year, Telltale is starting to look to the future.
Steve Allison, senior vice president of marketing, said that after episode 5 is released, Telltale plans to release the entirety of the game on a retail disc. Following that, they will begin working on a Season 2. Considering how surprised I was at the first game’s quality, I’m already sold on a sequel.
