First Screenshots Surface for Free to Play MMO Survarium

Vostok Games has released the first official set of screen shots for their upcoming free to play MMO Survarium.

These still shots were made based off an early build of the game, so they do not represent the quality of the final project. They do, however, allow a glimpse into the economical disaster that is Survarium.

Set in the year 2026, Survarium takes place in a post-apocalyptic world riddled with both social and environmental turmoil. Extreme environmental overgrowth from numerous ecological crises destroys cities, cuts off electricity, and isolates towns from each other. Pure anarchy rules as nature takes over the world.

According to IGN, lead designer Aleskey Styianov describes the game as “technology versus nature” and “rational versus mystical”.

Survarium is set for a 2013 release, but no official date has been set.
