Despite a positive critical reception and some impressive sales figures, the big talking point surrounding Mass Effect 3 has been its controversial ending cutscenes. After fans made something of a fuss, BioWare announced the Extended Cut DLC that promised to expand the endings and provide a more satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.
