The first Assassin’s Creed game arrived on the PC five months after it hit consoles. Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood brought the delay down to four months. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations only took a week.
Assassin’s Creed 3 was intended to release on the same day as consoles. But, Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed 3 on PC will bring the delay back up to almost a full month after it hits the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Assassin’s Creed 3 will arrive on the Xbox and PlayStation on October 30. According to a promotional image found by Eurogamer, the game will reach the PC on Nov. 23, 2012. However, Ubisoft has stated that “the Windows PC release date is still to be announced.”
So for keyboard-bound assassins, it looks like November will be three weeks of hiding from spoilers in a haystack, or on the top of a large cathedral.
