Could Final Fantasy VII Coming to PC Again?

GOG.com forum user real.geizterfahr (not to be confused with the imposter geizterfahr) discovered a new site that has been registered to Square Enix called www.finalfantasyviipc.com. Reportedly to be sold for the price of £7.99 or €9.99, the game is also said to include cloud saves, achievements and a built in character boosting cheat tool just in case you don’t actually want to spend hundreds of hours levelling up materia. There are no US prices given so this might just be a Europe focused initiative so far.

That said, one should hope that Square Enix has fixed up the game since its original PC release since that was a complete and total mess that was buggy, badly coded, didn’t have the original music and actually made Square Enix reconsider how it did PC ports for when it ported Final Fantasy VIII over later.
