Kirby 20th Anniversary Compilation Contents Revealed

Apparently at Nintendo, a 25 year anniversary means more than a 20th anniversary. To celebrate Zelda’s 25 year anniversary, there was a new game, orchestras, and most importantly, tons and tons of remakes and ports.

Kirby’s one year away from drinking age, and he’s just getting the Kirby: 20th Anniversary Special Collection for the Wii. It doesn’t have a brass section, but the list of games it does have was announced in Famitsu this week, and translated by Anoop Gantayat of Andriasang.com.

The collection includes Kirby’s Dream Land and Kirby’s Dream Land 2 for Gameboy, Kirby’s Adventure for Famicom/NES , Kirby’s Super Star and Kirby’s Dream Land 3 for Super Famicom/NES, and Kirby 64.

The game includes an on-disc calendar which details the series’ history, a special booklet, and a soundtrack. None of which are a full-fledged orchestra tour, but Kirby has to settle for what he can get, I suppose.

Nintendo’s release calendar places the Kirby Collection at a July 19 release date.
