New Borderlands 2 Footage Phase Locks My Heart

It’s no secret that I loved the original Borderlands and am more excited about Borderlands 2 than a person should reasonably be. Every bit of new footage excites me even more, and this latest walkthrough, showcasing the city of Opportunity, is no different. Opportunity is the city that Handsome Jack built, and serves as an example of his vision of Pandora’s future.

The player’s goal in this mission is to start a revolution by destroying every Handsome Jack statue, only the statues are bullet proof. You’ll need to enlist the help of a large, decommissioned robot to cut down the statues, and of course, you’ll meet heavy resistance along the way. The footage splits its time between Maya, the Phase Locking Siren, and Zero, the stealthy ninja assassin, and, naturally, shows off a range of abilities and impressive firepower.
