Someone should patch the crack in BioWare’s DLC dam, because it seems for the second time, details of an unannounced multiplayer expansion have leaked. Not only that, but it contains some details regarding the single-player Extended Cut patch. All of this is coming from a post on Reddit by the same guy who revealed the first details about the last multiplayer pack.
First off, we have the multiplayer details. Looks like we’ll be heading to various cities on Earth. Fortunately, Detroit is not one of them. Also, we get a shotgun called the Piranha. If the world is just it will, in fact, shoot carnivorous fish at people.
The fighting is fiercest when it’s your home at stake! Mass Effect 3™: Earth adds mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London. It features 3 new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury!
The blurb about the Extended Cut additions is much less detailed, but it does give a quick overview of what to expect with the modified endings. It seems to center around showing you the consequences of the choices you made during the course of your adventure. The amount of children you orphaned will likely not make an appearance.
An expanded ending for Mass Effect 3. Additional scenes and an extended epilogue reveal the impact of Shepard’s choices on the future of the galaxy.
Finally, it should be noted that, while this is the person that leaked the Rebellion pack, it’s still a guy posting stuff on the internet, and should be taken with a grain of salt. Well, that or whatever the Turian equivalent is.
