The Capcom-Unity blog unveiled the details of the upcoming Resident Evil 6 Anthology and Resident Evil 6 Archives collections for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 today. Each collection is only available for its system and offer different content depending on which platform’s collection you choose to get, all for the price of $90.

For the PlayStation 3′s Anthology collection:

- Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
- Resident Evil 4 HD
- Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
- Resident Evil 2
- Resident Evil: Director’s Cut
And for the Xbox 360′s Archives collection:
- Resident Evil 6
- Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
- Resident Evil 4 HD
- Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD
- Resident Evil Degeneration (DVD film)
In terms of savings from the MSRP for each title, the Resident Evil 6 Anthology collection for PlayStation 3 is offering you $142 worth of content at $62 worth of savings. The Xbox 360′s Resident Evil 6 Archives collection is offering $157 worth of content at $77 worth of savings. The tradeoff is that you get an alright anime CGI movie and a really good spinoff title instead of the first three games of the core series.
This is a surprisingly awesome offering out of Capcom. I’m sure everyone decrying them for hating their playerbase will have something to chew on now.
