Counter-Strike Global Offensive Gets Release Date and Pricing

Valve announced today that its upcoming sequel to the infamous Counter-Strike series will see the light of day on August 21, 2012 across the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 platforms. It will be priced at $15.
The game has been in beta for months now and there’s no indication about whether your achievement progress will be carried over. The game will feature new weapons, new maps, and new gamemodes along with updated assets from previous games.
