By now, everyone knows that the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is getting an expansion pack called Dawnguard, which focuses on the complex relationship between vampires and those that hunt them. What you may not know is that Bethesda intends to hold a beta for the upcoming expansion on Xbox 360n, and that sign ups are open right now.
Sign up is simple – you’ll need to register an account on Bethesda’s official forums and answer a short questionnaire. According to Bethesda’s blog post about the beta, applicants will be selected in about a week, and those who are chosen will receive an Xbox Live code for the beta. The best part, however, is that the beta is actually the complete version of Dawnguard, achievements and all, meaning those who are chosen for the beta will get the expansion for free.
Space will surely be limited, so if you intend to sign up, you should probably do it sooner rather than later. And if you haven’t seen the Dawnguard E3 trailer, where have you been these past few days?
