VG24/7 has come to the rescue of Hitman fans considering flagellation with a video showing off the gameplay of the upcoming Hitman Absolution game. For the first time ever, the public can finally see that the game will be every bit as stealthy and puzzle-like as previous iterations of the series and not the sexy leathered battle-nun self-defense simulation we’ve all come to question incredulously.
The mission shoes off a relatively silent traversal through the busy streets of Chinatown where a terribly voice acted voice tells you to kill some dude who is apparently the king of this decrepit village. Probably the best part of the video, besides affirming that io Interactive hasn’t actually lost their minds and only the marketing team has, is the lighting effects. Borrowing the neons from Kane & Lynch, it really adds a depth to the aesthetic of Hitman that previous iterations in the series were sorely missing.
Check out the video after the break.
