Injustice

Warner Bros has officially announced a new fighting game franchise based on characters from the DC Comics universe. Titled Injustice: Gods Among Us and being developed by Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios, the game will feature an array of DC characters, including Batman, Superman, Solomon Grundy, and The Flash.

Set in “a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred,” Injustice will give players the opportunity to take part in epic battles between superheroes and villains. “We can’t wait to reveal Injustice: Gods Among Us,” said NetherRealm Creative Director Ed Boon. “It will give our fans and gamers an epic experience as they battle like gods as their favourite DC Comics villains and heroes.”

Injustice: Gods Among Us is set to be released for the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. The game’s  official website promises that a trailer is forthcoming, so we’ll be sure to keep an eye out for any updates.
