Tower defense/first-person shooter mashup Sanctum received patches Thursday, throwing in a medal system for completing levels at different difficulties and adding an increased tower limit, in addition to several graphical and gameplay tweaks. Sanctum is now playable for free this weekend, and is on sale at 75 percent off for $2.49.
The Sanctum Collection, including the game, all DLC, and the official soundtrack, is ordinarily $20, but has been knocked all the way down to $5 for the sale.
The free weekend and discount last until May 7.
Swedish developer Coffee Stain Studios also launched free DLC on Thursday, featuring Simon and Lewis from the YouTube channel the Yogscast.
And because I’m a massive Yognaught nerd I bought the Sanctum Collection without a second thought. Hey, it costs the same as a pack of imported Jaffa Cakes in America, and it’s not even stale.
If that’s not a hearty recommendation, I don’t know what is.

awesome! love this game, wish it had a bigger playerbase and more patches. best eastereggs ever!
