Last month, a rumor quickly spread about Black Ops 2 possibly being the next game out of the Call of Duty franchise. Activison, eager to stomp on the hype, was quick to quell these rumors. Adding some weight to the earlier rumors, someone has sent IGN pictures of Target pre-order cards that confirm the game for a November 13 release date.
If Twitter is anything to go by, public reaction has been pretty positive so far. Within the last few hours, Twitter has been filled with fans and haters alike expressing their opinion about the upcoming FPS.
Among these are gems such as “WOW! I just cannot wait for Black Ops 2! The first one was SOOOO good! And the storyline was superb! -No one” and “Sweet! Black Ops 2 is hitting three days before my birthday – hope the campaign story is as kickass as last time out. Love Treyarch.”
