A few months ago we reported that the next set of Pokémon titles would be direct sequels to last year’s Black and White. However, there were no other details to announce at the time; fast forward a few months and viola! we get a debut trailer.
While the trailer doesn’t feature much in the way of story elements, it does give us glimpses of the new legendaries, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, as well as new gym leaders, the two leads, and what I’m assuming is the game’s rival.
Head past the break to check out the trailer.
Pokémon Black/White 2 also looks to be continuing the trend of improving the series overall graphical presentation, as there are improvements to the original’s seamless combination of 3D and 2D animations. It also appears that seasons and duel battles will be making their return.
For those of you who still follow the anime, we get a brief glimpse at the next movie which appears to have a Japanese release date of July 14th.
While my Japanese isn’t great, it also looks like people who purchase new copies of the game will receive an unique Pokémon that looks like it comes right out of My Little Pony.
Pokémon Black/White 2 will be released in Japan on June 23rd and a NA release is sure to follow within a few months.
