Nintendo and HBO announce Game of Pokémon
As viewers around the globe eagerly anticipate the beginning of Game of Thrones’ second season later tonight, Nintendo and HBO have proudly announced their exciting new collaboration Game of Pokémon. The project, due out later this year, will combine the grittiness and drama of the fantasy series by George R. R. Martin, with the locations and characters of the Japanese creature collecting game.
A representative of HBO told us,
It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before. The Baratheons control the land of Kanto from their mountain above Victory Road, while the Lannisters of Saffron City seek to usurp power using treachery and gold. In the North, the Stark family control all land above Cerulean City in the name of the King, all while the Greyjoys of Cinnabar Island, crushed in the last rebellion, have their own secret plans for the territory. Far across the ocean, the lost Targaryen royalty seek an army to sail from Johto to claim back their rightful throne.
