Today in Gaming: March 30

Welcome to a new day of Piki Geek TiG! What’s that, you ask? The TiG, or Today in Gaming, is a rundown of all the news that we didn’t cover.

Now, wait a second – why aren’t we directly covering these stories?

The answer is simple: we’re embracing our name! Piki Geek was never supposed to be a one-stop shop for gaming news. Rather, it was supposed to be a hub for outstanding feature, preview, and review content with the day’s most important news stories thrown in.

At the same time, however, we understand that it sucks to have to dig through a billion-thousand sites to find good gaming news – so we’re doing that for you. At the end of every day on Piki Geek, we’ll be throwing out a TiG to link to our other gaming friends so you could catch everything we didn’t think was necessarily newsworthy.

Sounds good? Awesome. Now hit the break and be amazed.

Siliconera has got some screenshots of Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, the new 3DS RPG from Square Enix. Looking pretty slick, in all honesty.

In order to stress its emphasis on character customization, Capcom is offering a customizable Bobble Budd dress-up doll free with a pre-order of Dragon’s Dogma. No word on how much downloadable doll parts will cost.

Seems some researchers have argued that refurbished Xbox 360s might contain the credit card data of previous owners. Microsoft’s response? That’s unlikely.

If you’re one of the many who can’t wait for May 15th to arrive, perhaps you can scratch that Diablo itch with a little Path of Exile? The game’s beta is completely open all weekend, so go nuts.

Get over here! Mortal Kombat Vita has an official release date: May 1st. Just in time to take with you on those long summer trips.

Good news who prefer to control their mouse with a mouse: Epic Mickey: The Power of Two is confirmed for a PC and Mac release!
