You may have heard about Epic Mickey 2, but the details were spouse during its initial announcement. Since then, there have been a few tidbits released along with a trailer which gives some insight into the gameplay. While there is still nothing on the game’s musical theme, the trailer reveals that the core gameplay of erasing and painting environments will be making a return. One of the major differences is that it will be fully voiced acted and is being developed for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 alongside the Wii.
The game will be a co-op adventure that will feature drop-in/drop-out local play as well as online play. The second player will take control of Mickey’s brother, Oswald, who will use electricity to defeat his enemies and use his ears as helicopter wings. It might just be the angle, but the trailer also teases the possibility of combining Mickey’s paint with Oswald’s electricity to perform tasks such as puzzles and platforming.
Epic Mickey: The Power of Two will be released for the Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 sometime in the Fall. Head on past the break to see the trailer.
