Today brings great news for fans of motion-gaming as Irrational boss Ken Levine has confirmed that the PS3 version of BioShock: Infinite will include Move support from day one. In an interview with Eurogamer, Levine said, “Talking about Move support is like talking about music… It’s hard to do.”
What you don’t want to do is add something in and enforce it on anybody. Do an experiment, fine! We’re in the experimental stage, and people shouldn’t be afraid of experimenting as long as we can firewall off and protect what we know works. If we don’t experiment, we don’t progress.
You can read the whole review over here, but frankly the whole thing sounds likes it’s come straight from the mouth of the great Peter Molyneux. We’ve been doing this kind of thing since the Wii came out in 2006, I think we understand by now. Hopefully they can bring something new to the table, and a robot George Washington is certainly a step in the right direction.
BioShock: Infinite will be released on October 16 in the US and October 19 in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.
