Bethesda have announced that on April 3rd, PC and Xbox 360 gamers can pick up a double pack featuring The Elder Srolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout 3 for $29.99 on the console and $19.99 on the PC. Start gloating, PC gamers.
It’s not clear whether the pack also comes with all the available DLC. The release only mentions the actual games but not if they are the Game of the Year editions. Also worth noting is a complete lack of PS3 love. According to an official Bethesda staff account comment, they’re “not allowed to release it for PS3.”
There’s no indication what that means but it’s likely that it’s only a distribution and licensing issue rather than punishing Bethesda for another game’s problems entirely while these two are perfectly fine (as much as a Bethesda game can be) on the console.
