Devoted Counter-Strike fans on Valve’s Steam forums have managed to uncover a host of information about the upcoming multiplatform shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The leak includes a number of assets, including a potential map list, menu graphics and icons, and a wealth of character concept art for possible player avatars.
Interestingly, a good portion of the artwork mined from the leak depicts female avatars. This could potentially mean that Global Offensive will feature the option to play as a female, a feature desperately missing from most modern-day shooters and one that the Counter-Strike community has been asking for.
You can check out the full set of character models after the break. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is set to release this year for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
