We’ve been waiting for Namco Bandai’s Inversion for a long time. Now it looks like we’ll be waiting even longer, as it appears that the game’s release date is being pushed back to March 27. Originally slated for release on February 7 on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, retailers GameStop and GameFly have both changed the release date to March 27 on their respective websites.
Inversion was first announced way back in 2009 and was originally planned for a 2010 release. The game boasts “Gravity-Defying Gameplay” that takes place in an environment designed for “maximum destructibility”. Basically, if Half-Life 2 and Crackdown got together and had a baby, Inversion would be the bright eyed, bushy tailed result.
Namco Bandai has yet to comment on the apparent delay.
