Square’s Rumored New Title: Final Fantasy Dimensions

According to rumors, the next title in the Final Fantasy series will be Final Fantasy: Dimensions. As discovered by Neogaf user “miladesn,” Square-Enix filed a trademark application for the name on January 16. In addition, the domain FinalFantasyDimensions.com has been registered by the company.

However, fans of the franchise have been faked out before. Last December, the rumor mill was set ablaze by the registration of a trademark for “Final Fantasy XIII-3,” but it was explained later by Square-Enix public relations officer Akio Ofugi to have merely been a precautionary measure. Hopefully, this time, fans won’t be disappointed.
