There is a growing concern that long-time arch-villain Albert Wesker won’t be in Resident Evil 6 (he did fall into a volcano in 5). Those fears seem to be realized as voice-actor veteran D.C. Douglas revealed via Facebook that he will not be reprising the role in the upcoming game. While this doesn’t necessarily mean that Wesker won’t be in RE6, the fact that Douglas provided the voice for Wesker for several years does give the speculation more than enough merit to stand on its own.
Fans of the series will always remember Wesker for being the back-stabbing commanding officer of S.T.A.R.S of the original Resident Evil who was impaled by a Tyrant. Later, in Resident Evil: Code Veronica, he was brought back via a deus ex machina that would make Jean Grey giggle. Since then, Wesker had been the main villain of the series, appearing in spin-offs, working in the background of the main series until you actually had a chance to beat him down in Resident Evil 5.
Wesker will always be known for his want of global saturation, having a Cobra Commander-level of competency and wearing his dark sunglasses wherever he goes, even in underground bunkers at the wee-hours of the morning. If he is gone for good, I’ll certainly miss him (but it’s Capcom and I won’t count on it). If he ever is brought back into the RE-verse, I can only hope that Capcom brings the original voice actor back.

uh no, you see in the trailer shows or it says that it has been 10 years sense racoon city, that was in 1998 add 10 and thats 2008, RE5 was set on 2009, who knows maybe RE6 will take place in several time events..
Good. Uh, you *do* realize some of the best RE games don’t have Wesker in there, right? Anyway, good riddance, I hope he remains dead. He got old the minute he had his second resurrection. Onwards and upwards, I say.
