Resident Evil 6 Trailer Revealed, Launching in November
It’s a great day to be a Resident Evil fan! Following the release of the Resident Evil: Revelations demo on the 3DS, and the leak of promotional materials pertaining to Resident Evil 6, Capcom has gone ahead and confirmed Resident Evil 6’s existence in the best way possible – with a seriously badass announcement trailer. With a release date scheduled for November 20th, 2012, Resident Evil 6 will be the last of three Resident Evil games released this year, following Resident Evil: Revelations and Operation Raccoon City.
The latest entry in the long-running horror series appears to take place in multiple locations around the world, and from multiple perspectives as well. Series standbys Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield are among them, along with an as-yet-unnamed third protagonist, who is traveling with someone that looks suspiciously like Resident Evil 4’s Ashley Graham.
Plot details remain sketchy, but if Leon and Chris are starring together in the same game, it’s likely a fair guess that RE6 will tie together the story arcs from Resident Evil 4 and 5. More importantly, if you watch closely you’ll catch glimpses of gameplay where the player is actually *GASP* walking and shooting at the same time. Hooray for progress!
