The people over at Guinness World Records have awarded Nintendo’s Wii Balance Board the honour of being the world’s best-selling personal-weighing device. The record was actually broken in 2010 but sales just kept going up and now figures for the peripheral as of 2012 are at 22.67 million for the standard game and 19.31 million for Wii Fit Plus.
It begs the question: How many of those Balance Boards are actually still in regular use? I bet most of them are in the attic relaxing beside some of Nintendo’s other peripherals like the DK Bongos, the Virtual Boy, the Game Boy Printer, R.O.B, the Transfer Pack and the N64 Microphone.
Hit the break for a handy graph to show how well the Balance board has sold compared to other games you may have enjoyed.

I don’t want to live here anymore.
