Ruin, the ambitious new RPG that offers players the ability to switch from PS3 to Vita on the go, has been renamed ‘Warrior’s Lair’. There was no formal announcement from Developer Idol Minds, simply a quiet name change on the PlayStation web page.

The Diablo-esque game’s release date is still TBD but promises that players will, “rise from the ruins of a shattered civilization to complete quests, collect rare treasures and take down rival lairs.”

Other equally generic names the studio could have went for include: Warrior’s Sword, Dungeon Fighting, Wizard Attack, Underground Skirmish and Fighter’s Den.

I myself prefer the name “Action RPG”.

Both names sound pretty generic. Might as well have gone with Warrior’s of Ruin
