SkyUI organizes your inventory by categories across the top, and presents the items with their corresponding weight and cost in a smaller font, without having to scroll through a vertical list. You can also narrow down your search by filtering.
You will need Nexus Mod Manager, but it seems like a small price to pay for having a sane representation of your inventory.
