Cobalt Alpha Now Playable For Early Adopters

The semi-closed alpha of Oxeye Games’ 2D shooter, Cobalt, is now playable (if you’ve paid for it, of course). Cobalt is notable for having Jens Bergensten (Mojang, which is also publishing the game) on the development team, as well as being developed in-house at Mojang AB.

It’s available for PC now, with a Mac version planned for when it hits beta. I haven’t had the chance to play it yet, but from gameplay videos, it looks like a lot of fun. You can pre-order it, with Alpha access for 9,95€ (that’s approximately 13 Americaland dollars) at the official website.
