Hitman: Absolution VGA Trailer Chokes Out the Competition

The return of Agent 47 is one that I, personally, have been anxiously awaiting for some time now. Five years, to be exact – ever since the excellent Hitman: Blood Money came out in 2006. If the trailer unveiled at the SpikeTV VGAs over the weekend is any indication, my patience is about to be rewarded.

While trailer features decidedly more shooting than sneaking, the message is still clear: Agent 47 is a force to be reckoned with. Gunplay was never the series’ strongest suit, so while it seems the shooting will be improved, I can only hope the game’s focus has not shifted too far in that direction. After all, this is Hitman, not Kane & Lynch.
