And you thought Blizzard’s patch notes were long. Capcom has released the full list of changes due for the upcoming Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012, and it’s a doozy. Far too large to be contained within a normal blog post, Capcom has posted a PDF document in several languages for you to peruse the details of your favorite fighters.
Of course, to see the real meat of this update, you need only scroll down near the bottom of the document and take a gander at the enormous number of fixes being done to twins Yun and Yang. Introduced in the Arcade Edition update earlier this year, the Street Fighter III alums immediately drew criticism from fighting fans the world over for being head and shoulders above the rest of the cast, and it looks like Capcom is finally reigning them in.
Ver. 2012 is a free update to Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition that is set to launch on December 13th. The patch has been deployed in the arcade scene for several months now in Japan for playtesting and feedback purposes, so hopefully its launch will satisfy the competitive community that cried foul when Arcade Edition initially launched.
