Internet sleuths think they’ve found the location for the upcoming Resident Evil 6, and it looks like we’ll be going East. A Chinese voice actress has listed the game on her resume, with her character described as Chinese Villager/Zombie. Though this is no affirmation, as it may simply be for some brief cut-scene, it does raise some interesting possibilities.
Though the actual link to the profile has gone missing, screencaps show that voice actress Wendy Mok was last voicing a zombie character in Dead Island. Unfortunately, that’s where the facts end. All we can really say for sure is that Mok has the pedigree to do undead groans and gurgles right, at least.
So far, the game has been shrouded in lots of mystery. We saw a teaser video pop up supposedly from TGS, which turned out to be completely fake. Even that false trailer lacked gameplay, though, leaving us to simply make assumptions from voice actor resumes.
Resident Evil games have always had a diverse spectrum of zombie characters, so this listing may not indicate anything. But, despite my skepticism, China would be an interesting change for the series. Not to mention that the country’s population density in its major cities would make it the most terrifying place to be in a zombie apocalypse.

i’m predicting that RE6 should be out by 2014
