New Gotham City Imposters Trailer Praises Prankster Punctuality

A new animated trailer has just dropped for Monolith’s upcoming team-based multiplayer shooter Gotham City Impostors. For those unfamiliar with the game, it’s the Batman first-person shooter about Batman but without Batman. Confused? Don’t be.

The tongue-in-cheek shooter pits teams of working-class Batman look-alikes (Batmen?) against a crew of thuggish Joker wannabes in high-action Team Fortress 2 style combat. The game is currently in beta for the PC, with an upcoming beta test scheduled for both PS3 and Xbox 360. Gotham City Imposters is set to launch January 10, 2012.
