Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand Brings Back Gulf of Oman in New Video

Now that Battlefield 3 has to compete for your modern shooter-time – or even gaming-time in general – EA has sent us a little reminder in the form of a gameplay video. The teaser is set in the Gulf of Oman, a heavily tweaked version of the now classic Battlefield 2 multiplayer map.

The video plays out like your average YouTube kill streak compilation, but previews some of the new weapons and vehicles included in the Back to Karkand DLC. If you didn’t pre-order Battlefield 3, this map, along with the other three, will set you back $15. Such a heavy price for some minor procrastination.

The Back to Karkand pack will be out sometime in December for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. It will come out a week earlier than whenever on the PlayStation 3.
