Well, this is awful. In the last month we’ve seen Skyrim, Skyward Sword, Uncharted 3, Assassin’s Creed, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Saints Row 3 and about sixteen thousand other releases all worthy of your hard earned money. Now Steam wants to throw another sale at us?
That’s right, Valve has made your holiday gaming season even more crowded by kicking off an Autumn Sale, running from now through Sunday with special bargains on offer each day.
Like any Steam sale, there are plenty of great deals to be had. Today’s include both Mass Effect games for a measly $5 apiece and Portal 2 for a couple of dimes over $10. That’s three five star games for a quarter of what you’d pay for a new release. Other notable deals include the obligatory Indie collection, Duke Nukem Forever for just under $7, and the entire epic Abe’s Odyssey series for a ridiculous $3.74.
And those are just the deals they’re offering today. We’ve got four more batches headed our way before the event is up, and odds are good there will be at least a few more games worth picking up.
God damn you, Valve. There are only so many times I can draw a hamburger on a piece of paper and get away calling it food before I wither away and die.

There goes my paycheck.
God damn it sometimes I hate being a console gamer. At least I picked up Minerva’s Den for half off last week, but still. I hope Microsoft’s Black Friday and Cyber Sunday deals are better than this crappy “Fan Appreciation” sale.
Where is my wallet?oh right i just gave it to them
