Did you think leaving your computer meant you could be productive? Notch disagrees. The iOS version of Minecraft is prepped for launch tomorrow on the iTunes store, complete with the ability to play online with Android users.
The game will be an expected $10 and will provide players with a pocket-sized version of the classic edition available on the PC. This means that your player can craft, destroy, and wander with all 36 different blocks of materials available. Note, this means you won’t be building shelters and running from creepers, unfortunately.
This mobile version hits the market right as Minecraft is planned to have an official release on Friday at its very own convention, Minecon. If you’ll be at the convention, I am envious. If not, don’t be too sad. Tomorrow, you’ll be able to return to stacking blocks on the commute to work, in the bathroom, or when someone makes even the most moderate pause in a conversation.
