With Street Fighter X Tekken receiving a solid release date and information on new combatants slowly trickling in, it is time to turn our attention to Namco’s side of this development collaboration, Tekken X Street Fighter.
There has been practically no news about this upcoming fighter other than to tell us that development had not even started and that characters won’t “lose” their projectile attacks despite Tekken being a more close range fighting game.
Based on Katsuhiro Harada’s twitter feed, it has been revealed that we will see the game’s first footage “next year.” What “next year” means is anyone’s guess, but it is probably a safe assumption that it will appear at TGS 2012 at the very least.
