It was only a matter of time I suppose. Just under two weeks before its release, Modern Warfare 3, the much anticipated FPS from Activision, has been leaked for the PC. Well, part of it anyway.
The leak began after a worker at a shipping warehouse in Fresno, CA stole a disc. He was only able to steal one disc out of a two disc set. This leak could cause problems for the company, as the game was expected to sell very well.
Activision-Blizzard is coming down hard on people who obtain an illegal copy of the game. One unlucky individual, has already been fined and banned from online play, posted on Craigslist for people to be careful.
Modern Warfare 3 will be released on November 8th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

I fail too see how MW3 being on torrent sites is that big of a deal for Activision. People play CoD for its multiplayer, and people won’t be taking this leaked release online using conventional means.
