Sonic Generations is a game that is, at least so far, shaping up to be far better than anyone really expected out of a modern Sonic the Hedgehog game. Though the game is going back to basics in a way, only allowing you to play as Modern Sonic or Classic Sonic, it is bringing back a few familiar faces – boss faces.
The latest trailer for the game shows off a number of Generations’ impending boss fights, including a huge, leviathan monster, Silver the Hedgehog (from the travesty that was Sonic the Hedgehog 2006), Shadow the Hedgehog (who wields a gun and debuted in Sonic Adventure 2), Metal Sonic (from Sonic CD) and, of course, Dr. Robotnik (or Eggman, or whatever they’re calling him these days).
The game comes out on November 1st for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and sometime later for 3DS, so head past the break to check out the new trailer in the meantime.

Tres cool: and I wonder how this is going to look and feel on PC. I can’t imagine playing sonic with a keyboard.
Good thing most PC games these days come with controller support.
Actually, the 3DS version doesn’t have a date yet. No one yet knows when it comes out. The 360, PS3, and PC versions do however come on November 1st in North America and November 4th in Europe.
Fair point. My mistake.
I really felt bad for Silver. He wasn’t have his very own spin-off! All well that end’s well!
