We never seem to be short on Arkham City news as we continually spread the word about all sorts of things, such as pre-order bonuses, achievements, and even DLC content. Today is no different, as Rocksteady (purposefully?) spoiled something in regards to playable characters. Thanks to a new batch of achievements, it looks like everyone will be fighting as Nightwing at some point in the game.
The one downside is that it is listed as DLC and there’s no further information to go on, so it’s hard to say exactly what capacity Nightwing will be playable. I guess Rocksteady hasn’t completely shown its hand yet, and it seems logical to assume more will be revealed as the DLC nears completion.
It comes as a shock, but only slightly. This latest unveiled secret means that the playable character roster now increases to at least four: Batman, Catwoman, Robin, and Nightwing. Arkham City will be released on October 18th for PS3 and Xbox 360, with a PC date slated for November and a Wii U release for 2012.
