European Nintendo fans that have been waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel for the Wii and 3DS will finally get some relief this November. Not only are the heavy hitters Skyward Sword and Super Mario 3D Land slated for release on November 18th, Eurogamer is reporting that the four player Kirby title, will be available in European markets November 25th.
The game has been in the making for six years, originally being developed for the GameCube, and will be the first traditional Kirby game – with sucking and power ups – on consoles since Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.
Nintendo is making one odd change for the European release. The game will be re-titled Kirby’s Adventure Wii. Return to Dreamland was a nice step away from the awkward naming strategy Nintendo has used for games recently, such as Donkey Kong Country Returns, Super Mario 3D Land, and New Super Mario Bros Wii. This rename seems like a step in the wrong direction.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land will release for the Wii in North America on October 24th.
